The hype about this Kashmir and TERRORISM ended when I landed here and found it to be peaceful, calm and quiet place where everybody has resorted to fooling the travellers or tourists rather than holding them for hostage and an independent Kashmir.
Though with a bated breath they always tend to express the feeling of an Independent Kashmir away from Indian Government rule. I really dont understand the reason for such foolishness. But here I am to talk about Kashmir and Srinagar and my experience as a traveller no doubt a foolish one.......
All the way we are fooled and we only realised after being fooled by the people here..Though there butter coated words like "Chalo Koi Baat Nahi" (ok no problem, whatever you will say we will agree) is just a mask to hide their trickery to fool the tourists and extort money from them.....
One thing that I learnt ( though being from an IT Industry - where we earn money through information) here is that one can only earn money by holding back information.....Once you let it go all your bargaining power goes for a toss and you are a mere puppet in the hands of the buyer....
Here we were the buyer and were ultimately fooled by this strategy.
My future blogs will concentrate about the places to visit, what to visit and how to bargain with this extortionists......
